NVN Sr. Sec. School

At NVN Senior Secondary School, we believe that road safety is not merely a set of rules—it is a responsibility that every individual must understand and practise. Through our Road Safety Awareness initiative, students are encouraged to develop safe and responsible habits as pedestrians, cyclists, passengers and future drivers.

The programme focused on creating awareness about essential road safety practices, including obeying traffic signals, using zebra crossings, wearing helmets and seat belts, following speed limits, avoiding distractions while travelling, and maintaining discipline on the road. Students were also sensitised to the importance of being alert near school zones and respecting other road users.

Special emphasis was placed on safe school transportation, encouraging students to board and alight from buses only at designated places, remain seated while the vehicle is moving, avoid distracting the driver and follow the instructions of transport staff.

Through such initiatives, NVN School aims to nurture a culture of discipline, responsibility and respect for life. We believe that educating children about road safety today will help create more aware, cautious and responsible citizens tomorrow.

“Road safety begins with each one of us—Be Alert, Be Responsible, Be Safe.”
